that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have
been called according to his purpose.

A
lot of bad things happen on this earth.
This passage does not say everything that happens is good but that good
can be found in the bad. Who will find
that good? Only those who love God,
trust Him and are called to be a part of the healing and hope God can provide.
When
going through bad times, a Christian must look for the good, pray for the good
and communicate the good. It’s always
there, not always immediately recognized, but eventually apparent if you seek
it.
