“Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves.
I am the Lord.” Leviticus 19:28
Tattoos only appear in one place in the Bible. The decoration of one’s skin had a different
connotation in those days, used in Pagan rituals, to mark yourself for
different gods.
Today, as long as your tattoo honors God, the tattoo
could be acceptable. You may want to
reconsider if it’s used to glorify the world.
Talk to a Christian who has a tattoo and ask if they regret it. Many trying to get jobs face judgment for
their tattoos and cannot be hired.
