See,
the Lord rides on a swift cloud
and
is coming to Egypt.
The idols of Egypt tremble before him,
and the hearts of the Egyptians melt with fear. Isaiah 19:1

is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen. Revelation 1:7

The term
means judgment. Clouds have an ominous
presence about them, signifying a coming storm.
If God comes on a cloud, it’s like saying he’s arriving like a
storm. People will see the signs and
then judgment occurs. That phrase appears
in the Old and New Testament.
