There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 1 Corinthians 12:4-5

            When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit comes and lives inside you, bringing you into the family.  The Spirit becomes your connection to God, guiding you, protecting you and using you for God’s service.

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 1 Corinthians 12:7

            A spiritual gift is the manifestation of the Spirit in you for everyone’s good, to bring the message of hope to the world.  These gifts are distributed to all believers according to God’s determination.  God knows who you can reach and how you can reach them.  He’s designed you to be a part of the bigger picture in a very precise time and place.

Some of those gifts (according to 1 Corinthians 12) are:

·         Wisdom

·         Knowledge

·         Faith

·         Healing

·         Miracles

·         Prophecy

·         Discernment

·         Tongues

·         Interpretation of tongues

·         Service
