If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38

            Is we’re ashamed of Jesus, it would call into question our salvation.  Do we really understand what God did for us through the cross?  We should be shouting from the mountain how much we love Jesus!

            The verse does say the ashamed person would enter into the Father’s glory, but their entrance comes with an asterisk (*) and a look of disappointment by God, instead of the reception by the bold servant who hears, “well done, good and faithful servant.”  Which reception would you rather receive?
