“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Matthew 7:13-14
The
“gate” (the pathway to an eternal relationship with God) Jesus talked about is
narrow because so few travel through it.
It doesn’t need to be a big door because the flow of traffic is not as
large as God wants it to be. More people
choose self over God and enter through the wider gate. More people rather go to hell then to heaven. That’s sad.
