“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:19-20

            Jesus talked about praying in numbers and how effective it can be.  It doesn’t mean that two or three will immediately force God to answer their prayer.  God’s will still reigns.  If Jesus said that he would respond to the prayer of an individual, why wouldn’t he respond to the prayer of many individuals.  Wouldn’t that solidify God’s response?  Sure it would. 

            Praying in numbers has a greater effect since many will see the power of God working simultaneously.  They all rejoice and they all feel the presence of God.  God wants us praying together so we can experience the power of God together.
